FAQ

How can I get a bike built by you?

It all starts with you reaching out! Either drop us a line through our contact form, find us on Facebook & Instagram or give us a call!

What does it cost to get a bike built by Speed & Custom?

No two bikes are the same and no two projects will cost the same. There are a ton of variations between builds and it all depends on what you envision the end result to be. We'll always work with you to stick to budgets and we can guide you on what is achievable within your budget.

What do I need to do to get started on a custom build?

It all starts with the donor bike, which will be the platform we'll create your custom build from. If you don't have a donor bike, we can source one for you, but this will need to be factored in to the overall budget.

Do I have to find a donor bike?

Our workshop is based at Sykes Harley-Davidson where you'll find the largest selection of new and H-D Certified Approved Used bikes, so we have plenty of choice in house! If we don't have the bike you're after, we're more than happy to source a bike on your behalf.

How long does it take to complete a custom build?

It's all dependant on how many projects we currently have and the labour required to create your vision. Complete builds generally take between 8-12 weeks and we will keep you updated throughout the build process.

What can I change on the bike?

There is no real limit to what can be customised. There will always be certain aspects of the bike that can't be changed, but as long as it's legal, safe and within your budget anything is possible.

Do you offer custom paint?

We work with Image Design Custom as our trusted paint shop, who are one of the top paint shops in the world.

Can I come and visit you?

We're an active Harley-Davidson dealership and our doors are always open! If you're visiting to check out custom builds or to discuss your own project, just drop us a line before you come.

Do you carry custom builds in stock?

Most of our builds are created bespoke for customers, so we don't often have bikes in our workshop. That said, as an active Harley-Davidson dealership we do see custom bikes come back to us for servicing, maintenance and general work, so you may be lucky! You may even get to see some of the current projects we're working on.
